Phnom Penh, May 19, 2026

At the invitation of the Non-Bank Financial Services Authority (FSA), and with the assignment by H.E. Dr. Chan Narith, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Secretary-General of the National Social Protection Council, and Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Digital Transformation in the Social Protection, Mr. Sao Kimsong, Head of ICT Unit of the Digital SP Secretariat, participated in sharing experiences, progress, and the strategic direction of digital transformation within Cambodia's social protection system. This took place during an experience-sharing workshop on "The Progress and Direction of Digital Transformation in Cambodia," organized by the General Secretariat of the FSA.

The purpose of this workshop was to gather practical inputs from all perspectives and relevant stakeholders. This will serve as a foundation for the technical working group of the General Secretariat of the FSA to draft the Digital Transformation Strategic Plan for the Non-Bank Financial Sector 2026–2030.
