H.E. YOK Samedy, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat for the National Social Protection Council, chaired an inter-institutional meeting to review and discuss the Annual Compliance Audit Report on the National Social Assistance Fund (NSAF) for the 2024 fiscal year.

The meeting was organized to review the recommendations issued by the National Audit Authority of Cambodia (NAA), discuss aspects concerning NSAF's management of revenue, expenditures, and state property, as well as assess the progress of improvements made in line with the NAA's recommendations. Additionally, views were exchanged on modernizing the NSAF's digital systems and capacity building to support implementation, specifically focusing on data updates and verification to ensure higher accuracy, transparency, and accountability in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations.

The meeting was attended by representatives from the National Social Assistance Fund, the General Department of Budget and the General Department of National Treasury of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, alongside relevant officials from the General Secretariat for the National Social Protection Council.
