Handover of Registration Equipment for the Cambodia Digital Social Protection Platform in Kampong Thom Province

H.E. Dr. CHAN Narith, Secretary of State, Ministry of Economy and Finance, Secretary-General of the National Social Protection Council, and Chairman of the Digital Transformation in Social Protection Sub-committee, and H.E. Nuon Pharat, Governor of Kampong Thom Province, presided over the ceremony to hand over registration equipment for the Cambodia Digital Social Protection Platform (DSPP). The event gathered approximately 300 participants from government institutions, development partners, and sub-national administrations across the province’s 81 communes/sangkats.
The equipment will be used by commune/sangkat officials for social protection registration operations via the DSPP, which was launched nationally on October 6, 2025.
Key Point: Kampong Thom is the third province, after Kampong Cham and Siem Reap provinces, to implement the DSPP, supporting the phased national expansion of the social protection registration and data management system to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the National Social Protection Policy Framework 2024-2035.
