Following the recent consecutive delivery of digital equipment for social protection registration through the DSPP digital platform to all Communes/Sangkats across Kampong Thom, Kampong Speu, Kampot, and Prey Veng provinces, the Digital SP Secretariat of the General Secretariat for the National Social Protection Council, in collaboration with the National Social Assistance Fund (NSAF), organized a training plan for program-implementing officials in the Communes/Sangkats of the four aforementioned provinces. This training focuses primarily on strengthening the capacity to use the National Social Assistance Family Package Program portal on Cambodia's Digital Social Protection Platform (DSPP).

As of June 8, 2026, the relevant working groups from the National Social Assistance Fund and its provincial branches have begun leading these training sessions according to the set schedule. The training for all 477 Communes/Sangkats is slated for completion by the end of June 2026.

To ensure the smooth and comprehensive execution of this training plan, the Digital SP Secretariat team of the GS-NSPC, led by H.E. YOK Samedy, Deputy Secretary-General of the GS-NSPC and Head of the Digital SP Secretariat, has deployed working groups to target locations across the four provinces. Their mission is to inspect, support, and further drive knowledge transfer, as well as strengthen the readiness of Communes/Sangkats to effectively and efficiently implement the Family Package Portal in these provinces.

Training and capacity building for sub-national officials is a key strategic goal within the Strategic Plan for Digital Transformation in the Social Protection 2024–2028. The utilization of the DSPP digital platform, combined with the capability of implementing officials to leverage modern digital tools, will serve as a solid foundation for executing the Royal Government's National Social Protection Policy Framework.
