DSPP Launches in 116 Communes/Sangkats of Prey Veng Province, Marking the 4th Province in National Expansion

National Social Protection Council and the Prey Veng Provincial Administration launched the Cambodia Digital Social Protection Platform (DSPP) in 116 communes and sangkats across Prey Veng province. Presided over by H.E. Chea Somethy, Minister of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation and Vice-Chairman of the National Social Protection Council, H.E. Dr. Chan Narith, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and H.E. Suon Somalin, Governor of Prey Veng Province, the ceremony included the handover of 116 sets of digital equipment including laptops, printers, and scanners to local officials to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of social protection data management and service delivery.
As the fourth province to adopt the DSPP after Kampong Cham, Siem Reap, and Kampong Thom, Prey Veng marks a significant step in the NSPC's DSPP national expansion plan. Under the leadership of H.E. Dr. AUN Pornmoniroth, the initiative aims to reach 15 target provinces by June 2026, with the ultimate goal of achieving full nationwide coverage by the end of this year.
