H.E. Dr. CHAN Narith, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Secretary General of the National Social Protection Council, led the technical team of the National Payment Certification Agency on a study visit to Preah Ang Duong Hospital on the morning of November 10, 2025. The study visit aimed to review and monitor the progress of implementing payment certification through digital platform and to collect additional input as a basis for promoting the use of digital technology to fasten health service delivery for both the Social Security scheme (for NSSF members) and the Social Assistance Program (for Equity Card holders).

It should also be noted that the digital payment certification function is integrated into the Patient Management and Registration System (PMRS), a digital system for recording and managing patient data. This system is currently being deployed on the Cambodia Digital Social Protection Platform (DSPP). Through the established interoperability mechanism, the system has the capability to exchange data with relevant operators to achieve a common purpose, in line with the strategic goals set out in the Digital Transformation Strategic Plan in Social Protection System 2024-2028 of the Royal Government of Cambodia.
