Following the Kingdom of Cambodia's winning of the Global Recognition Award for the interoperability and harmonization of its registration and data management systems within the social protection, the Digital Convergence Initiative (DCI), a global initiative, has invited H.E. YOK Samedy, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat for the National Social Protection Council, to represent the NSPC and join the Cambodian delegation at the Second World Social Development Summit which is a part of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). The purpose is to showcase the digital transformation of Cambodia's social protection ecosystem, specifically the Cambodia Digital Social Protection Platform (DSPP) and the Social Protection Registry (SPR), which have been recognized as Global Best Practices.

It should be noted that the Second World Social Development Summit will take place on November 5, 2025, in Doha, Qatar.
