Approximately 400 participants, including relevant ministries and institutions, representatives of development partners, provincial, municipal, and district administrations, and commune/sangkat officials, attended the "Handover Ceremony of Digital Equipment for Cambodia Digital Social Protection Platform (DSPP)" The event was presided over by H.E. PEN Sopakphea, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Chairperson of the Executive Committee for the National Social Protection Council, and H.E. Tak Hab, Chairman of the Kampot Provincial Council.

By the end of February, the DSPP had expanded its scope to cover a total of 499 communes/sangkats. Kampot is the fifth province to implement this digital platform, with digital equipment being provided to all 93 communes/sangkats across the province. As part of this expansion, each commune/sangkat received a set of high-performance laptops, color printers, document cameras, and fingerprint scanners to be used for delivering social protection services as well as public administrative services.
