The technical team of the Secretariat for Digital Transformation in Social Protection Sub-Committee, led by H.E. YOK Samedy, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat for the National Social Protection Council and Head of the Secretariat, continued its meeting with representatives from the Ministry of Civil Service. The purpose was to examine the feasibility of connecting the Cambodia Digital Social Protection Platform and the Social Protection Registry with the Public Civil Servant Management Information System. This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of identifying vulnerable families, in line with the high guidance of H.E. Dr. Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, and Chairman of the National Social Protection Council.

It should also be noted that the Cambodia Digital Social Protection Platform and the Social Protection Registry are currently connected to the digital systems of six relevant ministries and institutions, and are preparing to connect with five other digital systems. This will increase the capacity for verifying and confirming eligibility to receive social protection benefits with greater effectiveness, accuracy, and inclusivity.
