Through the ASEAN Digital Awards 2026, held during the 6th ASEAN Digital Ministers’ Meeting in Hanoi, Socialist Republic of Vietnam from January 12-16 2026, Cambodia’s Digital Social Protection Platform (DSPP), developed by the General Secretariat for the National Social Protection Council, successfully passed the preliminary rounds and advanced to the final stage as one of the top three finalists, alongside Vietnam and Singapore. In the final round, the platform was presented to the evaluation committee of the ASEAN Digital Committee, comprising representatives from all 11 ASEAN Member States, with the participation of international partners including the Republic of Korea, China, Japan, India, the United States of America, Australia, the European Union, and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

Following a rigorous screening and evaluation process, on January 15, 2026, the ASEAN Digital Ministers officially and unanimously approved the award of the Gold Medal of the ASEAN Digital Awards 2026 to Cambodia’s DSPP, recognizing it as the most outstanding digital excellence for the public sector in the ASEAN region.
