The National Social Protection Council, in collaboration with the Svay Rieng Provincial Administration, organized the "Handover Ceremony of Digital Equipment for Social Protection Registration via Cambodia's Digital Social Protection Platform in Svay Rieng Province." The event was held under the presidency of H.E. YOK Samedy, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat for the National Social Protection Council and Chairman of the DigitalSP Secretariat; H.E. UY Channimol, Deputy Director-General of the National Social Assistance Fund; and H.E. NHEM Sary, Deputy Governor of Svay Rieng Province. It was attended by approximately 300 participants, including provincial, municipal, and district administration leaders, as well as commune and Sangkat officials.

During the ceremony, 80 communes and Sangkats across Svay Rieng Province each received one set of digital equipment, which includes a high-performance laptop, a color printer, a document camera, and a fingerprint scanner. This equipment will not only modernize and streamline the delivery of social protection services through Cambodia's Social Protection Digital Platform but will also support general public administrative services at the local level.
