As of early March 2026, 686 communes (41.53% nationwide) have been equipped with the Digital Social Protection Platform (DSPP) to automate and improve social protection services.

The National Social Protection Council and the Kampong Speu Provincial Administration held a handover ceremony for digital equipment to facilitate social protection registration via the DSPP. Presided over by H.E. Yok Samdy, H.E. Oukchay Pannhara, and H.E. Horn Pheakdey, the event included 350 officials. During the ceremony, all 87 communes in Kampong Speu received digital tools for social protection registration and data management purposes. Nationally, the DSPP infrastructure now covers 686 communes, reaching nearly 42% of the country.
